He is known to be a masterful strategist who looks to maximize potential for the team and individuals. In this DVD, Lutz shows how to develop a strategy for success through well-structured and purposeful practice planning and show you how to scout your opponent. In developing a successful practice plan, Lutz teaches how to have a practice philosophy that matches your game philosophy. He focuses much of his attention on defensive philosophy and uses marker board and on-court demonstration to teach principles and drills for creating player and team habits for game execution. Coach Lutz also explains the importance of having a balanced practice to maximize the abilities and efforts of your players. In the second half of the video, Lutz, along with his assistant coach, gives a step-by-step game plan for scouting opponents.
