The American subsidiary of SIG SAUER, SIG Arms, took charge of thedevelopment of the GSR. In 2003, the demand for .45 ACP hand gunswas such that many manufacturers were commercializing replicas of theColt 1911. The replica designed by Cybergun is a CO2 'Gas Gun' with locked breech thatgenerates a power of 1 joule. The breech is made entirely of metal and themarkings have been engraved by laser, all of which gives a very realistic effect. The magazine is of the 'Slim' type, meaning that it is nobigger than the hand grip. It has a 15 pellet capacity.The very first CO2 replicas had a very long magazine, which detracted from the realism of the Soft Air. Thetechnical team at Cybergun succeeded in reducing thesize of the magazine so that it remains within the proportionsof the genuine magazine. The presence of a Picatinny type rail below the barrelallows you to customize your replica with a flashlightor laser spotter.

The Revolution Series 1911 pistols from Sig Sauer feature all stainless steel frame and slide machined to exacting tolerances and hand fitted to insure reliability and performance. Like all Sig Sauer products the Revolution contains only premium internal parts including a match grade barrel, hammer/sear set and trigger. The slide sports Novak night sights. The frame features 25-line per inch checkering on the front strap and 20-line per inch on the mainspring housing and is complimented by a set of checkered grips. Both the frame and slide on the Revolution are de-horned making it ideal for perfect full size concealed carry. For safety the GSR features a beavertail grip safety with speed bump, extended thumb safety, firing pin safety and hammer intercept notch. Also available in compact size with a 4 1/4" barrel.
