The magnetic distortion alerts “Err" when external magnetic interference occurs, and there's an automatic shut-off mechanism to conserve on battery power. The Digital Altimeter measures a range of -500 to 9000 meters (-1600 to 29, 500 feet), with a resolution of 0.5 meters. It records total altitude gain and is equipped with a trip timer to calculate your current ascending or descending speed, as well as average ascending or descending speed. The Digital Thermo Alarm Clock features a snooze alarm, a perpetual calendar that shows date and day of week, and a thermometer with maximum/minimum temperature memory.
